Geothermal energy is a natural resource that can be used to conserve energy and environmental impact. Because our system harnesses the earth’s natural heating
and cooling capacities, it ends up consuming far less energy than traditional systems
– up to 45% in some cases we’ve worked on. This correlates to a reduction in
carbon footprint of more than 50%.
Because it’s entirely underground, our system has no impact – aesthetically or
structurally on the building! Heat rejection equipment (like cooling towers) can
frequently be seen on the top floors and roofs of older buildings. Such equipment
typically weighs up to 20 tonnes. Moving this equipment underground frees up
top-storey space for other purposes – more office space, restaurants, penthouses,
and roof gardens – enabling the client to increase productivity and profit.
Our system reduces the financial cost of building and running the premises.
If incorporated in the development stages, our systems reduce the need for
excess steel support in the building (compared with top-heavy heating solutions),
conserving resources and reducing program time.
